Valerie fell in love with real estate while in high school when she read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Her dream at that time was to own real estate and in particular rental property. From reading this book, Valerie began her pathway to where she is today as a Broker Associate with First Colorado Land Office.
In 2002, Valerie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration-Entrepreneurship from Reinhardt University in Georgia. While attending college, Valerie began working as a Commercial Real Estate Lender for First Cherokee State Bank in Woodstock, GA. Then she obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University in 2005 and continued as a Commercial Real Estate Lender.
In 2012 while visiting friends, Colorado stole her heart. In May 2013, she made the move to Cotopaxi, CO. She worked as a Commercial Real Estate Lender for High Country Bank in Salida CO. Valerie has fifteen years of experience helping clients purchase real estate through her lending skills and now is using that experience to help her clients buy and sell real estate.
Valerie wants other people to follow their dreams of living in beautiful Colorado. She has a passion for helping people connect in the community. Her hard work, attention to detail, and putting her client’s dream’s first, makes Valerie a successful real estate agent. Her knowledge in the various areas of the Real Estate process from pre-approval to closing, she guides her clients through each step of the process.
Valerie and her husband David have four children and live in Buena Vista. They all love experiencing the outdoors of Colorado including running, skiing, snowboarding, camping, fishing, and hiking. Just as Valerie had the motivation and dedication to train, and recently finish the New York City Marathon, she will put the same dedication to you as a client.
