Dennis Ridley has lived in Colorado since 1964 and in the Arkansas River Valley since 1979. He graduated from Western State Colorado University with a degree in Industrial Supervision. For twenty-five years Dennis worked in the food service industry: owning and running a restaurant and, for thirteen years, providing six hundred meals, three times a day for Frontier Ranch – A Young Life Camp, here in the valley.

In 2008, Dennis became a Realtor. These were challenging economic times to broker real estate and in order to best serve his clients,Dennis studied hard to learn all he could about the nuts and bolts of the business. Water law, zoning, covenants, appraisals, ethics, banking regulations and contractual law are just a few of the areas qualified Realtors need to be familiar with. Dennis does whatever it takes to represent his clients in the most educated, skilled and honest way possible. He goes the extra mile to insure his clients are comfortable with the process and obtain every available benefit in their transactions, and he has built an enviable reputation in his thirty-five years in the valley.

Dennis has been a board member and donor for Sunset Hospice Care; is active in the Salida Sunrise Rotary Club; he volunteers for Habitat for Humanity; has served on the Realtors of Central Colorado Board of Realtors and he rings the Salvation Army bell in the Christmas Season. Dennis’s wife, Skye, owns Pak Mail, a shipping and packing store in Salida. They love their life here with their two dogs, Scout and Smokey, rescued from the Canyon City Humane Society. And yes, at home Dennis does the cooking.

“With me being the youngest Shriner at 73, I was sure glad that Dennis helped move our stuff out of the Shrine Club building. He also helped me navigate the tricky commercial sale of an old building.”
Bob McCormick, Salida

“Thank you, again, for all you have done for us, Dennis. I will forever remember this. You are an excellent representative for Salida.”
Hilda Ehlers

“Our original lender, whom we chose, literally made everyone involved in the transaction angry at her. Dennis recommended another lender who took it over and we sailed into closing. Dennis was there for every step of the way, even though he had severe back pain. He had to miss the closing because of surgery, but he made sure we were taken care of. ”
Kristen and Jeremy Vallet, Salida

“We are from Florida. We want to eventually move to Colorado with clean air and plenty of room. Dennis drove us all over the San Luis Valley in a Spring snowstorm. The piece of land we wanted Dennis said just went under contract. Two days of driving around and trying to decide on which property we would buy, Dennis called and said the property we originally wanted was out of contract. We immediately went to his office and signed everything. 10 days later, we closed. This never would have happened if Dennis wasn’t looking out for us.”
Corey Zarem, Sarasota, Fla

“Living in Texas and having a summer home in Colorado was terrific for many years. We finally decided to sell the summer home. Dennis was professional and communicative. We were able, through Dennis’ help, to move our furniture out. Dennis and one of his friends cleaned out the guest cabin which enabled us to close on time.”
